FINANCIAL POLICY

Following your treatment consultation, you will have the opportunity to develop a customized financial arrangement. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and debit cards. For comprehensive work, our financial coordinator can help you to utilize your insurance, outside dental financing institutions, or use services available from your employer with which you may not be familiar such as flex spending. Patients can receive some outside financing interest free. For your initial visits, payment is due at the time service is rendered, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you have a dental benefit from your employer, we will be more than happy to help you submit your insurance and mediate where possible. However, the portion your benefit will not pay will be due at the time of service. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact Erica for any concerns you may have. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of any dental benefits you may have.

We will send you a monthly statement to keep you apprised of the status of your account. We submit all insurance claims electronically. This allows speedy, verifiable, delivery of your claims to insurance companies. Even so, it will take most insurance companies four to six weeks to respond to claims for basic treatment. It may take them even longer to respond to more sophisticated treatment. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. It is your responsibility to cover any outstanding balance. If we have exhausted our abilities to follow up on your benefits with your insurance company, or if there is a balance following insurance payment, you are directly responsible for all monies due on your account. Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a payment plan but this must be accomplished prior to the actual procedure.
